Automatic badges from conditions
On sale, stock, sold out, days since creation. On Pro: discount %, sales over N days, price, tag, product type, vendor and up to 10 conditions with AND / OR. Badges are added when a product matches and removed when it no longer does.

Use any product metafield in a condition (Pro). The Top rated template reads the reviews.rating metafield written by Judge.me, Loox and Yotpo.

Do I need to edit my theme code?
No. MDBadgePilot uses a theme app extension: you turn the app embed on in the theme editor, and off the same way. Nothing is written into your theme files.
Which themes are supported?
Online Store 2.0 themes, tested on Horizon. If badges do not show on product cards with your theme, the app embed has an advanced Product card selector setting, and we can help you set it.
Where do badges show?
On the main image of the product page and on product cards: collection pages, search results, homepage sections and product recommendations. The Product badges block can also show them near the product title.
How do automatic badges stay up to date?
Conditions are evaluated when you save a badge, each time a product is updated in Shopify, and on a full pass every hour on Pro (once a day on Free). Scheduled badges are checked every 5 minutes.
Can I show a badge on top-rated products?
Yes, on the Pro plan. The Top rated template uses the reviews.rating metafield written by Judge.me, Loox and Yotpo: products rated 4.5 or more get the badge.
Will badges slow down my store?
Badges are stored in Shopify metafields and read by your theme, so the storefront never calls our server. The script that places badges on product cards is small and has no external dependency.
What happens if I uninstall?
Badges stop showing, and your badges, conditions and plan are deleted from our database right away. Your theme files are untouched.
